Terms & Conditions
By booking a service with Renewed Ride Detailing, you agree to the terms below. These terms are in place to make expectations clear and to protect both the customer and Renewed Ride Detailing.
1. Bookings
Bookings can be made through WhatsApp, social media, the website contact form or direct message.
A booking is only confirmed once the service, date, time, location and price have been agreed by both the customer and Renewed Ride Detailing.
Renewed Ride Detailing reserves the right to refuse or rearrange any booking where the work cannot be carried out safely, legally or to a suitable standard.
2. Access, Water and Electricity
Renewed Ride Detailing operates as a mobile service and carries a water tank. However, water supply is limited and may not be sufficient for every vehicle, service or level of soiling.
The customer may be asked to provide reasonable access to an outdoor water supply where required.
Renewed Ride Detailing carries an extension lead, but the customer must provide access to a suitable and safe plug socket/electricity supply. This is required for equipment such as vacuums, machines and other detailing tools.
The plug socket must be accessible and close enough for the work to be carried out safely.
The customer must provide a safe, legal and suitable location for the service to be carried out, with enough space around the vehicle to work.
If access to a suitable plug socket, water supply where required, parking or the vehicle is not available at the agreed time, Renewed Ride Detailing may be unable to complete the service and the booking may need to be rearranged. A cancellation or call-out fee may apply.
3. Pricing
Prices shown on the website, social media or marketing materials are “from” prices.
Final pricing may vary depending on the vehicle size, vehicle condition, level of dirt, pet hair, stains, mould, excessive rubbish, heavy soiling, extra time required or additional services requested.
Any extra charges will be discussed before work begins where possible.
If the vehicle is significantly worse than described at the time of booking, Renewed Ride Detailing reserves the right to increase the price, reduce the level of service to fit the original booking time, or refuse the job.
4. Vehicle Condition
The customer must make Renewed Ride Detailing aware of any known issues before the service starts. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Existing damage
-
Scratches, dents or stone chips
-
Loose trim, badges or body parts
-
Damaged paintwork or lacquer peel
-
Leaks or water ingress
-
Electrical faults
-
Warning lights
-
Aftermarket parts
-
Delicate, repaired or resprayed areas
-
Faulty windows, mirrors, doors, handles or locks
Renewed Ride Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, poor previous repairs, weak paint, loose trim, failing lacquer or defects that become visible during or after the cleaning process.
5. Personal Belongings
Customers must remove all personal belongings, valuables, money, documents, child seats and important items before the service.
Renewed Ride Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle.
Any items found during the service will be placed aside where possible.
6. Child Seats
Child seats should be removed by the customer before the booking.
For safety and liability reasons, Renewed Ride Detailing does not remove, refit or reinstall child seats.
7. Results
Every vehicle is different. Results depend on the vehicle’s age, condition, previous care, mileage, staining, contamination, odours, scratches and general wear.
Renewed Ride Detailing will always aim to achieve the best possible result using safe methods and quality products. However, some stains, marks, odours, scratches, defects, pet hair, mould, heavy soiling or contamination may not be fully removable.
No guaranteed result is promised unless agreed in writing before the service.
8. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Weather
Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange your booking.
Renewed Ride Detailing may rearrange a booking due to bad weather, unsafe working conditions, lack of access, equipment issues, illness, emergencies, unsuitable vehicle condition or unsuitable location.
9.If a customer cancels at short notice, fails to attend, provides the wrong location, or the vehicle is unavailable at the agreed time, a cancellation or call-out fee may apply.
As a mobile service, bookings may be affected by weather. Heavy rain, strong wind, snow, ice, extreme heat or freezing temperatures may make the service unsafe or unsuitable. This is to protect the vehicle, the quality of the work and working safety.
10. Complaints or Concerns
If the customer has any concerns about the service, these must be raised as soon as possible, preferably before the vehicle is moved or used.
Renewed Ride Detailing must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, correct any issue.
Complaints made after the vehicle has been driven, used, exposed to weather or cleaned by another party may be harder to assess.
11. Photos and Marketing
Photos and videos may be taken before, during and after the service for records, portfolio, social media and marketing.
Registration plates, addresses and personal information will be hidden where appropriate.
If you do not want your vehicle photographed or used for marketing, please let Renewed Ride Detailing know before the service begins.
12.Liability
Renewed Ride Detailing will always work with care and attention.
Renewed Ride Detailing is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, hidden defects, weak materials, poor previous repairs, failing lacquer, loose trim or issues caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits the customer’s statutory rights.
